Kazakhstan To Send 890 Thousand Tons Of Oil To Germany

Kazakhstan will export at least 890 thousand tons of oil to Germany by the end of 2023. According to the statement made by the Kazakhstan National Oil and Gas Company (KazMunayGaz), the chairman of the board of directors of the company, Magzum Mirzagaliyev, made contacts in Germany.

In the meeting held here, Mirzagaliyev reminded that the contract for the crude oil supply between the two countries was signed within the scope of the official visit of the German President Frank Walter Steinmeier to the capital city of Kazakhstan, Astana in June, and said, “The total amount of oil we will deliver to Germany in 2023 is at least 890. We plan to reach a thousand tons.” said.

In addition, Mirzagaliyev announced that Kazakhstan exported 390 thousand tons of oil to Germany through the Druzhba oil pipeline in the first 7 months of this year. During the talks, the German side confirmed their determination to increase the volume of oil supplied from Kazakhstan.
