Sales Of Iphone 12s Are Banned In France Until Further Notice

Jean-Noel Barrot, Minister of Digitalization and Telecommunications in France, announced that the sale of iPhone 12 model phones is banned in the country until further notice. In his statement on the X social media platform, Barrot stated that the sales of the iPhone 12 model phone have been stopped in France until the US technology giant Apple brings an update. Minister Barrot stated that he asked the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) to mobilize all its officers to comply with the ban in question.

It Turned Out That The Model Exceeded The Permissible Amount Of Radiation

According to the statement made by ANFR, which controls the amount of electromagnetic waves that electronic devices emit on people, in the controls made on 141 phone models, it was determined that iPhone 12s exceeded the amount of radiation allowed in Europe.

While in Europe, when a phone is held in a pocket or in the hand, it is required to have a radiation amount of 4W/kg, ANFR revealed that this amount is 5.74 W/kg in the iPhone 12 model phone.
