KBR is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager/Data Manager (CMDM).  CMDM will support configuration management planning and describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.  CMDM will support configuration planning and will identify and maintain the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. CMDM will be responsible for configuration change control. CMDM will support the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software while maintaining responsibility for configuration status accounting.  CMDM will track all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration while maintaining responsibility for configuration audits.  CMDM will support audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. CMDM will manage and track data deliveries for various contracts, perform Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and serve as a liaison between project teams, engineering, and management as required to ensure information access for execution of projects and tasks.  CMDM will provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Requires a college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or 3-5 years’ of CM/DM experience in lieu of education. Familiarity with current SAE EIA-649-1 – CM Requirements for Defense Contracts. Effective communication skills, strong technical communication skills and a readiness to explain complex technical issues.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance upon request.Must be able to acquire a government Common Access Card (CAC)

Preferred Skills:

  • CM experience with military products and servicesUnderstanding of DM process and relationship to CDRLs, SDRLs, and Data Rights.Familiarity with DIDs and the ASSIST site to research DIDs for future use and keep current versions of DIDs on contract.Proficiency in organizing data for storage and retrieval for large projects with high volumes of document deliveries and revisions.Knowledge of Government standards for data security such as markings, handling of classified and unclassified information, and how to handle the distribution of this information.Proficiency in Software Configuration ManagementProficiency with Microsoft Office products like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.Able to independently plan, organize, and reprioritize work to meet challenging deadlines.
