2024 Genesis GV80 Coupe: The Brand’s First Coupe-SUV Model Is On Stage

Must read

Genesis, which has been appreciated with its recent designs, is this time with the GV80 Coupe model. The luxury brand had previewed its first Coupe-SUV model with a concept bearing the same name in recent months.

What Does Genesis GV80 Coupe Offer With Its Features?

The bumper with large air intakes at the front of the new Genesis GV80 Coupe, which looks sportier than the standard GV80 with the advantage of its body type, draws attention. The wide front grille and the split headlight design, which has become the signature of the brand and continues on the fenders, also continue to exist.

When we move to the back of the GV80 Coupe, which can be preferred with 19, 20 or 22 inch wheels, we are greeted by full LED taillights consisting of four pieces, just like the front. While the sporty look at the front continues with the two-piece trunk spoiler, the glossy black details surrounding the rear bumper beautifully accompany the quad exhaust tips. When we look at the technical data, we see that the GV80 Coupe has a length of 4965 mm. This shows that it is 25 mm longer than the standard GV80, which is probably due to the rear design because the wheelbase of 2955 mm is the same in both models.

In the interior of the new Genesis GV80 Coupe, a 27-inch OLED screen brings together digital displays and multimedia screens. On the center console, there is a climate panel that combines touch and physical controls. The wireless mobile phone charging unit and large cup holders hidden in the center console are also among the striking details. Ambient lighting supports the premium look of the interior, where high-quality materials such as leather, aluminum and wood are used. Apart from this, premium features such as four-zone climate controls, 14.6-inch rear screen, heated armrests, crystal-like control buttons and Bang & Olufsen sound system are also on the list.

Under the hood of the model, different options are offered depending on the need. While there is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine offering 300 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque at the entry level, those who want more performance are welcomed by the 3.5-liter V6 turbo engine offering 375 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. The version of the six-cylinder engine with 48V electric supercharger support is at the top with 409 horsepower and 549 Nm of torque. The model, which will first be offered for sale in Genesis’ home country of Korea, will gradually enter the Australian, European and North American markets in the future.
